Opening an Account?

Joining the Credit Union is the best decision you could make.

To become a member you will need to fill in a Membership Application Form, which you can download by clicking on the icon or link below, print, fill and bring it with you to the credit union office along with following documents:

 

1. Photo ID – Valid Passport or Drivers Licence.

If you don’t have either of these, an ML10 Form is required.

This form is available from your local Garda Station.
2. Proof of Address - Utility Bill or Bank Statement (dated recently, last 6-8 Weeks)
3. Proof of PPS Number - Social Welfare Card or Drugs Payment Card 
4. € 5.00 to Open Account plus  € 1.27 Once off Membership fee.

Please note for children’s accounts (under 16 years):

An account may be opened for the child by their parent / legal guardian only.

Photo ID, valid passport or drivers licence, as well as a proof of Address for the Parent / Guardian is required such as a recent bill or bank statement.

The bill / statement must be within the last 6 – 8 weeks.

Our Credit Union lets people in the community come together to save and borrow money at low rates, and is operated on a not-for-profit basis, with surpluses being returned to members.
